Yes, our Boo has suffered more “Marks of the Adam” than any of our other pets and has lived to tell the tale.
Dying? Or Dyeing? Weren’t you an English major, too, at one point?..
Intent is what matters–by augmenting Boo’s coat with red tiger stripes (food coloring), I was trying to give a white cat that didn’t have a chance sneaking up on anything some camouflage. Unfortunately, red food coloring on white fur = pink…
Boo is about the cutest and sweetest old-man cat I’ve ever known. He eats like a pig these days, too, and Dad spoils him with canned wild-caught salmon and pricey gourmet kibble. Even the dogs love him — I saw Killer and him go nose-to-nose for a few seconds, and then Killer gave him a lick on the nose. Another Kodak moment gone to waste.
