The kittens may already have been dead, whereas dragging a live dog behind his car causes the dog’s death.
I would’ve charged the canned-kitty thrower with asaulting a police officer, behaving in an offensive manner (what is that, like, breaching the peace?), destruction of public property, and anything else that could reasonably be brought.
Sort of reminds me of the anti-abortion fanatics’ behavior, what with the signs picturing aborted fetuses and the like.
That’s a good point. Pickled Roadkill would be a good plate lunch name at a roadside diner.
