Are you using short grained Thai rice? You need the mochi-type high rice, round and higher sugar content….

I thought most of the rice consumed in Thailand was long-grain. Oh well. Gohan is like……..Gohan.

Yeah nobody told me I couldn’t do it with long rice, so I tried it… Everything was spot on except the consistency, which is to say, it was a total failure.
