Mother Earth, Mother Board is my favorite Wired article too! I’ve reformatted it in a Word file and edited it slightly because it’s so long and I prefer to read it on paper.

That’s so funny – I did the exact same thing many years ago. I carried that printout around so long, it became coffee-stained and dog-eared and was eventually ground down into fairy dust, I believe.
