I had no idea I’d started a trend until recently, when a nurse at the maternity ward told me about similar ones of different babies. She said I’d left a printout of this photo in the private room Nam stayed at and they just kind of left it there. Eventually, people who stayed in that room started leaving similar photos there and the cleaning staff left them all on the dresser. I’ve asked to see them, so if the nurse comes through for me, I’ll post them here.

M&M’s First TKD Exposition
Nam left for Japan on a work trip yesterday, but we are keeping busy at home. Max and Mina’s dojo did a taekwondo expo at the old Sermthai shopping mall in town.
Max likes watching kung fu movies at home, and then forgets he’s studying TKD, not wushu:
Then, predictably, somebody set off Mina and she went all Dragonball on everyone:
Video to follow as soon as it finishes uploading.
UPDATE:
TKD Generations
So Max and Mina have been taking Tae Kwon Do classes for a couple months now, and recently passed their yellow belt tests. Watching them develop during their daily sessions (6 days a week) really brings back a lot of memories. See if you can spot why:
Grand Master Yong Shin (our idol):
Two girls talking
I’m not sure what the context is, but I like their expressions:
Taken about a month ago at a restaurant barge in Don Wai Floating Market (which is no longer a floating market, but rather a very hot and crowded indoor market crammed with people), on the banks of the Nakhon Chaisri River, Nakhon Pathom province.
UPDATE: Kevin provides dialogue.
A fruit on my tree
Oh, my Gac! Or should I say, fuck cow?
The tree I planted a handful of gac vines under, in a pot, allowed just one enough shade to survive a full year. I’ve only spotted one fruit so far, but I’m looking forward to see if it will fully ripen.
