Strange Leaf Insect
Found outside of my office back in March. It was one of the coolest bugs I’ve ever seen. I’m still catching up with all the photos downloaded off my phone.

We must here publicly thank all of those who have sent Max presents from all over the world, clothes in particular. They are sooo cute! He has so many sets of clothes I’m thinking of documenting them here as a complete collection, as well as in individual photos.

Another shot from the Japanese festival Nam’s department put on at Mahasarakham University a couple weeks back. Max needs to grow into his clothes a bit (thx Uncle D and Auntie M!)

Sometimes the sky here is so pretty it can make you cry. Even Max loved this sunset.

Let It Flow
Max has become a master of letting us know when he isn’t pleased (shown here with my student, Nick). These times when he forces himself to cry, if we can figure out what he wants, he stops just as quickly as he started. It’s quite hilarious if you’re an observer, but not so much if you’re the one he’s aiming the Sad Face at.
