Gyoza Face

Not to be confused with Burger Face.

I cook separately for the fam when I’m on keto. Every time I take a break from this diet, I make gyoza because it’s a long family tradition. The filling ingredients vary, depending on the availability of nira (garlic chives), which is used for only a few dishes in Thai cooking and hence not widely available (Japanese cooking in Thailand tip: the most reliable place to buy them is a kway chap ingredients vendor at a fresh market).

For the burger, I happened to have some Lazada-sourced keto bread for mine, but lucky Mina got hers on a fresh bagel made by a very talented baker/professor at Nam’s uni.
