Egg noodles with braised pork leg

Nirvana: Achieved. (@ Nong Khai, a couple forgotten streets down from the unremarkable riverside marketplace, across from a nondescript temple in a truly magical noodle shop)

Looks fantastic, but it also looks more East Asian than Thai, what with the spoon-and-chopsticks combination of utensils. Did this place advertise itself as a ramen stop? (Are those ramen noodles? Perhaps not, if they’re egg noodles…)

It looks scrumptious! And I now default to using spoon and chopstick at home since Nam and you were here eating with us. It’s less splashy-messy and more “authentic Thai”, right?
    Come cook with us soon!

Big soup spoon and chopsticks is the standard for Thailand and Japan. The noodles were pretty close to ramen noodles.
