Going over my YouTube Favorites, I realized I had forgotten to post my favorite video of 2006. It’s truly something to behold – best after a couple beers, but it will trip you out even if you’re stone cold sober:
Let’s face it, YouTube (and to a much lesser extent, Google Video and the new kids on the block like Revver, Break, etc.) completely changed the way we play online – props. Here’s to another year of innovation.

My Own Private SW Xmas SPL
My wife is working today, so I’m catching up on some YouTube. Merry Christmas!
Wait! If you liked that last vid, you’ll love this one:
Response to “How to draw a car in MS Paint”
I really dig the How to Draw series because the sum of my freehand drawing ability can be expressed as:
Member’s Only Jacket
“In 1984, Director Stanley Kubrick placed ads throughout the U.S. for young aspiring actors to send in audition tapes for “Full Metal Jacket”. This is one of them… “
Karen Carpenter ??

Anatomy of a Tribute
Well, I got a bit homesick walking by the local pizza parlor today. Not for food, mind you, but for my music and my stereo stuff, which is slowly making its way through customs in Bangkok. So I donned a pair of headphones and headed for the Tube.
Lo and behold, someone had uploaded new Tenacious D vids! The first two are pretty much universal must-sees:
Tribute
Making of Tribute
The other two are raunchy as hell and NSFW. I’ve nicknamed them “Kewpie,” and, “Heinz.” If you’re a D fan, you should definitely go check them out:
BJ (Kewpie)
LSD (Heinz)
Tribute to Silvia
We are half an hour out from heading to the airport, but this morning what I miss the most is my car…
Bye Silvia! You served me well…
I am smiling
After all, tomorrow is my LAST DAY of work.
But that’s not the only reason. Let me break off some of this happyhappyjoyjoy for you, too:

Kentaro Mania (Solid Steel Vids)
I’ve said this a thousand times before: On the Wheels of Solid Steel is the best CD/DVD combo I’ve ever seen, period. When I heard about it I had to order from England, but it looks like they sell it on Amazon now. Do yourself a favor and get it, it’s one of the few mixed albums I can stand to listen to on it’s own (without video), and the bonus DVD is one of the few I’ve ever found worth watching more than once – hell, I’d have bought it separately if they’d decided to market it that way.
…………….
The two vids above are really well edited and fun, but I saved the best for last. These are live performances from his 2005 Japan tour:
