Python Bursts After Trying to Eat Gator

gator-python.jpg

In this photo provided by the Everglades National Park, the carcass of a six-foot American alligator is shown protruding from the mid-section of a 13-foot Burmese python Monday, Sept. 26, 2005 in Everglades National Park, Fla., after the snake apparently swallowed the alligator resulting in the deaths of both animals.

Inherit the wind, oh fuzzy little animals…

  1. Clash of the Titans

This is a good story, as you can see from the pic (sorry I couldn’t find a bigger one, I’ll look more). It’s a burmese python swallowing an alligator; halfway through the alligator managed to claw its way out, but both died.
    Talk ab…

  2. It’s almost like those fantasy football leagues… where you pair up unlikely competitors… or better yet, a Mutual of Omaha-meets-WWF Steel Cage Match!!! I wish it were a little closer… I’d want to see the point of explosion:)
