Songkran 2026

Songkran on the newly-designated fun road in Sarakham was really packed this year, as crowded as I’ve ever seen it.

Tee and I hung out with the local District Chief Officer at his friend’s pop up Songkran concert stage for a few hours and had a few beers, then I went home after I had had enough of being in front of the ridiculously loud speaker stacks.

I much prefer the local scene to tourist-infested big cities.
