Does setting a Featured Image Manually in the WP App Make It Appear on the Front Page (AKA Italian Parsley)?

This is an XML-RPC test of sorts. Also, the Featured Image for this post is my huge planter of Italian Parsley that I grew from a smaller bunch I bought at Makro. It kind of took off. It loves Thailand!!

And these are some melon and pumpkin plants grown from seeds I put in another planter. I hope they bear fruit.
