When we visited Monterey last month, both Max and Mina got to hold one of George’s birds during the Good Old Days festival in Pacific Grove.
Max drew a very nice picture of a tropical bird today and when I asked him what kind of bird it was, he answered, “George’s bird.” Good memory, Max!
Oh my, what a memory for brilliant colors and awesome fun events! Max and Mina really loved George’s birds and with good reason….George is the only bird whisperer we’ve met who loves to educate ignorant humans about how cool and loving all the parrots, macaws, love birds, conures and cockatoos can be with anyone, young or old!
Great job, Max! I would like to request an autographed copy of “George’s Bird” by Max so I can replicate it on canvas!
Damn. That’s pretty crazy-good for his age!
Cool he remembers George’s birds! I see them every Tuesday at Farmer’s Market, after Hell-Class at the gym. I’ll have to show Max’s drawing to him — I’ll bet he’ll be tickled.
Nicely drawn!
