typical Japanese english - 'meet your delight'. is JT like Phillip Morris? What's the first ad for - prophylactics? I guess the second one is for Peacock Cigarettes. Suppose that's the precursor to the JT standys - Peace, Hope.

I think JT is more of a government-sponsored monopoly, if I remember correctly (but don't quote me on this). Both ads are for cigarettes, made by rival companies in the distant past of Japan.
