This was all all procured locally. This part of the world will be hit with a metabolic syndrome epidemic in the coming years that will surely rival that of Mexico and their pudgy northern neighbors – we have a Starbucks three minutes from my house, for Christ’s sake.

  1. Feeling a little guilty for making all those yummy fried bologna and fried cotto salami sandwiches with cheese for you kids when you were young. And of course, laying on the mayo and mustard, too.

  2. Since reading this old post, I haven’t been able to get the fragrant memories of fried bologna and egg sandwiches out of my head! Tomorrow, I’ll head off and get the fixings so that I can ease this craving…..
